ADJUSTMENTS
The term "adjustment" refers to the specific gentle force that we apply to spinal bones that are out of their nomal position and irritate adjacent nerves resulting in symptoms &/or loss of health. This is called a SUBLUXATION.
The objective of the care in our office is to reduce the subluxation(s). This results in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability, improved function and overall health and wellbeing.
The corrective adjustments made by Drs, Jennifer and Scott, consist of a gently applied force,
high velocity, short lever arm thrust applied to a vertebra, which is often accompanied by an audible release of gas (joint cavitation). The audible sound is caused by the release of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, which releases joint pressure (cavitation).
